Hijinx - How Does Hijinx Work?

Our aim with Hijinx is to provide remote employees with a fun, safe, and productive environment in which they can engage in stimulating, memorable conversations that make them feel less isolated at home. Our games are integrated with Google Meet, and all users can choose to play or watch a game as long as they’re in the same meeting room.

How does Hijinx work?

In Hijinx, each player is assigned a role. That’s it.

If you’re playing, you’ll be on a “Hijinx” board. Click on the screen to play. If you’re watching, you’ll be on a “Hijinx” screen. Just click on the meeting room and you’re ready to go.

You can invite players to your meeting or chat in the chat room. If you’re having trouble, you can use the chat room to invite friends to join.

All of the players’ screen-names will appear on the meeting screen.

You can also invite players to join a meeting.

In the chat room, you’ll see a message appear above your head when you receive a new message.

Our games are completely unstructured. You can use the game or chat room as a place to meet, hang out, have fun, and explore your creative side.

You can set your meeting board to private mode and limit who can join the meeting.

What does the game look like?

Our games feature a variety of players. Some are friends from work, others are guests from the chat room. The way players are grouped depends on who you invite.

Our game features a map that lets you get a better feel of where you are.
